I know of

Party Poker (original)
Empire
Eurobet
PokerNow

but that's all. I read in another forum that there are six total skins (including the original). Is that correct? If so, what are the other two?

Thanks in advance.

ok, fine. i think you are nitpicking semantics here.

no SITE offers rakeback. however, rb is available through AFFILIATES on these sites.

think this could fall under the "get a life" category. sheesh!

I've been playing online for about 9 months now, and I still don't understand what a "skin" is. Do you have access to the same tables at empire as you would at party? Is it merely the same software?

I've seen skins mentioned many times before, but no one seems to be as dumb as I am to have to ask what they are.

Party Gaming provides the platform which six sites use-- including their flagship site, Party Poker.

The sites all share the same players, tables, etc... The multi-table tournaments are run independently by each site--- so you don't have access to the same freerolls or tournaments at Empire as you do at Party, and so on.

Also, Party offers a few unique things in their SNGs (Steps) and a Bad Beat Jackpot section, which the other skins do not.

Ok, thanx for the explanation. It's kind of weird, but I guess it makes sense. Same players and same tables. Hmmm.

Now I'm confused...

Do you mean I can be on party and be playing the same $1/2 LHE table that you are on playing on empire?

I thought they shared common software but each had their own customers, tables, finance, etc. ie, totally separate except fot the common software.

?????
