Does anyone know whether a screen purchased in the US would work in the UK...?

If so, would it be feasible to have 1/2 screens imported from the US to the UK....

I only say this as the saving is immense......45%....And I would be willing to pay a premium to anyone who is able to help me in this situation...

If I ordered from the US, it would need a US delivery address.....and then need to be dispatched to the UK...

I was considering setting up an export thing for exactly this reason but was told that customs would intercept and confiscate too many to be profitable.

buy 2001FP's from ebay. i got mine for £300 inculding 2 day delivery from the USA. they work perfectly fine over here, all you need is a plug adapter.

If you paid import tax, this shouldn't be problem, I think. Should be less than Dell's UK markup /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I got mine of ebay too -- same price, works fine, quick import, trusty seller -- PM me if you want the sellers details.
