Anybody like this play?

The whole table got really tight as soon as the the 50/100 blinds came around. My table image is tight at this point. I have only played one or two pots.

Behind two limpers, I don't really like it at all considering your stack isn't in any jeopardy quite yet. I'd fold here and find another spot before the blind comes back around. All IMO, of course.

By the way, don't show action after your initial preflop one. It's just unnecessary, and you're running the risk of looking like you're trying to sneak a bad beat post in here undetected. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I personally wouldn't recommend it, but behind two limpers I'd say you're the better part of a coin-flip most of the time when called and your stack is big enough you have some nice FE here.
I wouldn't try making a living off of this play, but given your read I think it's okay.

If the whole table has gone tight, what exactly do you think these guys are limping with here (esp MP)? Out of that range of hands, how much of the time do you think they are going to fold for 600 more in a 1400 chip pot? What % of the time are you likely to win this showdown if one of them calls?

IMO, whilst you are starting to get pretty desperate, pushing 22 here is just about as close to suicide as you can get when you consider that you are going to get called pretty much 100% of the time and a large % of the time its going to be by an overpair.

Your situation is pretty precarious anyhows, but if the table is really tight then push the next one from the button. Far better chance of taking that one than you do here.

You have no FE, therefore I don't like it. It always feels quite likely that your up against at least one smallish pair when there's two limpers. Also, always consider those weird limpers from level four and up. Has he done it before, regularly? If he's a raiser normally, the chance is abnormally high there's a big pair out.

The way you posted this gives me a creepy feeling that you want sympathy for running into kk or the like.

Edit: Since you have no fe, may it be a good idea to call 100 and push when you hit your set? What do you guys think?

It's not a good idea because you're just throwing away 100 chips 88.2% of the time.
Save them and use them when you do have FE or a monster.

1) With two limpers, you're highly likely to get a caller. Worse yet, you might get two.

2) You're going to be at best a slight favorite, and not infrequently a substantial dog. 22 abhors callers in this situation.

Fold this when it gets to you, I think.
