I play primarily 25NL on party but I want to start focusing more on 50NL. However, I usually select the tables with the highest average pot. I am bothered by the idea of joining a 50NL table with an ave. pot of 17, if there is a 25NL table with an ave. pot of 19. I know that high average pots can be indicative of aggression as well as looseness but I cant help but see a problem in this. If you pay double in blinds to be dealt hands and get paid off less wouldnt this lower your overall return? Do any 50NL players join 25NL tables if the ave pots are higher or am i focusing too much on high ave pot tables by this line of reasoning?
