Card Showing

Some players seem to like to show you their cards when they are in a hand and you're not ( and sitting side by side). Beyond what's wrong with these players - I assume this is against the rules since one player is being given information the rest of the table is not. Does this only happen at the lower limits?

last i heard this was perfectly legal so long as the person was not in the hand when they saw the cards. Afterwards I believe the show one show all rule applies.

They are your cards, you are welcome to show a kibitzer or another player your cards as long as they dont have cards themselves. Now if someone says what you have, that is not your responsibility as you showed them.

The only time the show one show all rule is in effect, is if the player you show your cards to currently has cards him/herself.
