It's been 2 weeks since my initial post to the forum. Haven't made a single wager since my mis-fortune of David Wells pitching a 3-hitter in the 8-0 Boston win (bet over 10) and the San Francisco Giants stranding 12 base runners in their 2-1 loss to Arizona. Now I'm back, with a vengance.

Tonights pick, to me, is a gimme. St. Louis (-137) is riding the momentum of one of the biggest 9th inning comebacks in recent years. They put Jason Marquis on the mound, who has been shakey as of late. However, Cincinatti sends out Aaron Haring, who has already lost to Marquis once this season, and is 1-3 in his career against the Cardinals, with an ERA just under 5. So Im gonna lay the $69 to win $50.

Also, Baltimore(-150) won't lose 2 in a row the way their bats have been of late. Tejada, Roberts, and Sosa should have a big night off of Josh Towers of the Blue Jays. Lay $75 to win $50.

Season: 0-2 (-122)

BTW...I'm a low limit grinder, in case you haven't noticed, so all my bets are based on half units...

*Sigh*...you win your main game (St Louis -69 to win 50) just to lose $25 on the day (Baltimore -75 to win 50). Oh well...today is another day. Baltimore holds the Toronto Blue Jays to 1 run and can't win the game...man I suck...

Season: 1-3 (-147)
