Yes, this is chimp dumping in a non acceptable form, email party and they will likely take action on this against these players. If you bust on the bubble you can probably claim a part of the money back.

Luckily, I finished 3rd, but without that chip dumping maybe I could have finished 1st or 2nd. Should I mention this or should I merely ask for my buyin back? I'm not sure if this angle shooting or not.

Looks like it, unless he's just trying to keep the bubble alive. Party will be able to see if these guys play together regularly.

A collusion post with actual collusion in it!!! Nice job!

Yeah, report that ish. If this isn't actually explicit collusion these guys did just about the best job of faking it I've ever seen...

Ask party for whatever you want...say that you should be compensated due to the collusion.

Similar thing happened to me a few minutes ago.
On the bubble, I am shortstacked with 1200. Two guys on my left have 2500 and Chip Leader has the other ~9000.

I push from button, BB says 'im folding'. SB calls. (I suckout).
A few hands later, I push again. SB asks BB "What you got?". BB says "A4". SB folds, BB calls (w/ A4) and wins.

I've got screenshots of this. What should I expect as a result?

"What should I expect as a result?"

By what I've seen on the forums I'd expect party to ban their chat for a week.

Party has sent me this reply.

Thank you for bringing this to our notice. We do see that the
conversation between these players "usf65" & "rakka187" was indeed
inappropriate. Hence we have conducted a detailed investigation on both the accounts
to check for any possible team play between them.

We have looked into all the necessary aspects of their history in our
card room and we would like to share with you these important facts that
helped us arrive at a conclusion:

1- Both these players are coming from DIFFERENT STATES in USA.

2- This is the ONLY TOURNAMENT where they have shared tables, in their
entire association with this card room.

3- We have gone through all the game records of this tournament and
confirm that there is no sign of collusion involved. Also note that we
have focused not only on the hands in which the player has been involved,
but also all the hands in which they have been together by themselves.

However, we do agree that the table conversation that transpired
between these players is inappropriate to say the least. As a result of this
report and consequent investigation, we have now

1) Blocked the chatting facilities of the player 'usf65'.
2) Barred both the players from sharing the same tables in this card
room.
3) Flagged their accounts to periodically review the activities in
these accounts.
4) Issued stern warnings to both the players, informing them about
possible sterner actions in case such activities are repeated in their
account.

We thank you for getting this to our notice, as this is in keeping with
our priority of keeping up the integrity of this card room. It indeed
is heartening to have players like you in this card room who care about
the integrity of our games.

Regards,
PP

I guess this is basically what I expected. Part of me thought I MIGHT be compensated, but considering I made the money (and might NOT have had that hand transpired differently) I'm not concerned. It's only one buy-in, and

1) I don't think the short stack was intentionally colluding.

2) I don't think the big stack actually knew what he was doing was wrong.

I'm fine with what happened. I guess if I had made my email a little whinier then I would have gotten half of usf65's winnings, but hey, what's $125? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
