So,

I'm planning a trip to LV with friends for next year's WSOP.

Any suggestions? best hotel, best poker rate, poker comps etc...

Right now, we are thinking of staying to the Orleans because they have 2 tournaments a day. Not sure excatly if we are going to participate in a WSOP event yet (satellites for sure though).

Are you thinking going early or late in the tournies?

I have also been discussing the idea with a few people. I would like to go late to try a few supers for the big one but I am not sure.

My first inclination was to come in for the early tournaments, so that if I can win a place, I'll play. I wouldn't mind playing in a 1.5-2K event but frankly, 10K (that's 15K canadian) is too much $ for me right now to pay to enter that event, I would prefer the $$$.

Have they pulished a schedule of events for this year yet? And has the Horseshoe worked their way out of the difficulties they were having last summer?
