I think that it's new, and I hear it on the radio all the time now.

Anyone know what it is?

It's not Holiday.

Oops. I just edited that it's not Holiday.

I just downloaded Holiday from Itunes so I know that it's something else.

OOPS. It's Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I just started humming it and figured that's what it is.

I haven't heard the new single- hopefully it is Extraordinary Girl or Give Me Novocaine- those are currently my favs from the album.

I admit that I don't know my Green Day as well as I should, istewart.

I bought Dookie on cassette in 1994 and I have only listened to them occasionally since then.

Oh. Well now that I realize that you're talking about Boulevard of Broken Dreams, then my new recommendation is to just go to your local high school and listen to a song some sappy freshman wrote in creative writing class.

Then why do you need the Green Day song? You already have the same song and it probably sounds better.

I don't have the synthesizer.

And I actually already have this Green Day song. There is a big campus file sharing network and I downloaded about 9000 songs last month. It's in there.

I really liked it the first hundred times..

about 10000 times in, I wanted to kill every radio/video programmer in the stage -

jesus...lyrics aren't even that good - just a nice chorus is all

Yeah, I was hearing it on the radio almost every day, and I just knew that it was Green Day. I'd know Billie Joe's voice anywhere.
