man at the table says, I'll lay 50:1 that the next flop doesn't contain 3 face cards. should I take the bet?

Do Aces count as face cards or is just Kings, Queens, and Jacks?

No, it's about 100-1 against. That is if face cards are face cards, the kings, queens, and jacks.

There are 12 face cards so probability of flopping 3 facecards is 12*11*10/(52*51*50) = .00995 or 99.45:1 against.
