I've played a fair number of hours (maybe 10-20k hands) at a live NLHE $1/$2 blinds game. The game was really really good.

The buy in started at 50xbb but I managed to convince them to change it to 100, and when I left it was getting up to 150ish sometimes... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

What kinds of winrates are you guys getting at live NLHE games, and what's the buy-in cap (if any)?

--Dave.

I don't want to get into a pissing contest, but I won about $30/hr. Of course, I had nightly swings of up to -700/+1400.

eDIT: And the -700 was a stoploss. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

why do you have a stop loss? I hope it is for a psychological reason.

I don't know that anyone can tell you what winrates are normal. Most people, I would assume, moved up to 2/5 long before they had any kind of reasonable sample.

Well, sometimes my stop loss is 400, sometimes it's 700, and sometimes it's +200... Basically I was starting to worse than normal and had to give up for the night. Once I left when I was up a grand because I was starting to steam a bit. I came back a few hours later though.

P.S.

Any help you could provide as it relates to winrate would be lovely. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

That makes sense. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Where I played, that was the only blinds / buy-in structure available.
