Wrong, it is hate an equally strong emotion capable of making people act irratioanlly. indifference is how I feel about well you. Are you telling me that if my feelings for you reversed I would be in love with you?

The opposite of indiffernce is caring.

hate is the opposite of love.

Since I'm trying to sound intellectual, I'll argue thusly.

Passion is the opposite of indifference.

Love and Hate are opposite types of passion.

Both answers are correct.
