Can it be done and if so, how many raked hands per bonus dollar?
I think I have a April Cashout bonus I'm going to use soon and I wanted to slow down and play some .50/1.
Thanks.
From my experience, clearing bonuses at .5/1 is around the same rate as clearing them at 2/4 or so...pretty slow =(
Edit: Expect half your hands to be raked for a point

Pop up three tables, turn on Rounders, and just cruise through the bonus. Takes a few days, but it's an easy profit.

It is VERY easy to clear at Party .5/1. If 80% of your hands aren't raked, you aren't finding good tables.

Agreed, I played 1 table of .50/1 (been on a downswing) today doing COMPBONUS (thanks to the zoo) and I did 125 RAKED hands in about 2 hours. And ended up 1 BB lol.

My rate for the past 5 (or so) has been 2/3rds raked and it seems that every table is sit down at is dead average in terms of table VPIP, average pot etc.

Yes, if you can find good tables it will definitely cut the time it takes to clear a bonus. I don't know about 80% but those one or two extra cold calls can turn many hands that wouldn't count into a raked hand.

I logged 2486 hands for a 1400 hand clear, so not quite 1/2, more like 57%...but still not quite 80% (I also generally play during the weekday, weekends might be different)

I just finished an hour 4-tabling on PokerNow.
213 Hands Played
143 Raked
67%
pretty typical

.50/1 Limit Omaha High.
Pots are almost always raked. I'd say over 90%.

Party and Eurobet just cleared at 2/4, about 55%.

But that involves playing Limit Omaha High
God,why don't you just have him push pins in eyes for an hour-get kicked in the nuts and crapped on by a dog and just call it even?

Yeah, from my past experience, you can get about 35-40 raked hands per table per hour.

I clear around 125 raked hands an hour 4 tabling $25NL. Seems like the raked hand percentages are the same regardless of the limit (aside from the high limit games of course).

this is how I clear the bonus.
I 3 table and get about 70-90 raked hands an hour at those limits.

i play 25PL on party skins and after paying attention at how many hands i was playing and how any counted for rake, i was getting about 77% 320 raked hands versus 420 played hands.

I cleared PokerNow. I played 1415 hands, 1400 of which were raked.
Seriously. Fish. With 7 cards. They start with J48 rainbow? That's okay they can still get better! They can make a straight! Or a flush! OR QUADS! NEXT CARD DEALER

FWIW, I find I need to play about 60-63% more hands than quoted to fully clear a bonus.

Absolutely true. Mabye not the fastest way to clear a bonus after all. I did some numbers and figure that I'll have to put in about 40 table hours to clear the PokerNow bonus this weekend at this game.
I need the practice anyhow.

I figured up the raked hands/table hour rate for limit HE and omaha at .5/1:
OH at .5/1 are raked at about 75% with 45 hands/table hour.
HE at .5/1 are raked at about 62% with 60 hands/table hour.
1 hour of omaha limit = ~34 raked hands/table hour.
1 hour of limit holdem = ~37 raked hands/table hour.
A 1000 raked hand req will take an extra 35-40 minutes while 4-tabling Omaha.
Even better, if you have the bankroll: limit Omaha 1/2. Pots are raked at or over 95%.
All these are based on my observed stats, though. I'm currently doing the pokernow bonus and doing it with Omaha, a mix of .5/1 and 1/2 so I'll let you know how it goes.

80% is a bit high in my opinion. I think it averages between 60-70% depending on the table for .5/1. 1/2 is a lot faster (especially shorthand).

FWIW, I just figured up my raked hands/hr earlier today. Over the last 9300 hands at .5/1, I've averaged 33.6 raked hands per table-hr.
