around 50 palyers left to money. is best stratagy just go in with decent cards and hope to get lucky and double up a few times?

Yes.

Also, go in with indecent cards if it is folded to you in late position. In some cases you are also getting good enough pot odds to call a raise without a big hand.

Easy fold your way in to the money situation. Don't play anything, even AA, those are just dealt to you to tempt you into getting sucked out on on the river and not making the $$$$.
