Villain is loose but passive post flop (40/10/.5 after 46)

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (6.33 SB) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, BB folds, MP1 calls.

Turn: (5.16 BB) Q/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, Hero calls.

I frown and hope for an A, J or /images/graemlins/club.gif, intending to call down with the first two

River: (9.16 BB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, Hero folds.

Any reason to call here? K/images/graemlins/club.gifJ is the only conceivable hand I beat here

Final Pot: 10.16 BB

I would call the river, I think you are good here 1 in 10 times. Also a 46-hand read isn't all that great and .5 with such a high vpip isn't exactly passive, either.
