Probably not. I predict pocket fives.

might be nice if you had raised preflop, otherwise fine.

Why raise preflop with a suited connector?

Depends on how the button has played earlier, if he often does loose calls I would play it the same, if he is tight-solid I can't see him calling the river without a seven or 55 so moving all in wouldn't be necessary.

if he has a 7, which is what i put him on, i double up because i have the bigger full house.

he had 5's beat all to hell. villain tabled 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif for the straight flush. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

last night was my first night in a weeklong trial run to see if i could play enough hours without getting burned out. i got stacked on this hand, as well as a set over set hand, and a top 2 pair vs. bottom 2 pair when bottom 2 hits his 4 outer on the river to boat up. i still ended up ahead on the night 11.76BB/100 hands after playing 1400 hands, so it wasn't all that bad. i had fun, too.

cheers!

I like the turn check because just about everything that beats you (except overs) got there at that point.

I like the river, villain either has something to pay off (edit: assuming you are ahead, otherwise, ouch) or he doesn't, the pot bet is a nice way to find out.
