im doing a paper due tomorrow and had a quick question i cant find an answer too.

For the lockup period after an IPO, can the lockup period be extended to the institutional investors who purchase the stock during the bookbuilding process? thanks a bunch

The answer is yes and you shoul be able to find this with a google search. Just look at all the tech/Internet IPOs during the bubble.
