after the smooth-call on both the flop and turn, i pegged this guy for 88. he's a rock: 8/0 over 123 hands. post-flop agg is .5. i should probably have just check-folded after getting called on the flop based on this guys stats.

Same as your other hand, I think you're overplaying this. Take it easy, play a small pot. If you start firing pot sized bets out of position on the flop and turn and build this massive pot, things get ugly for your little TPTK turned MPTK.

yeah, i posted these because they are both cases of not sticking to the plan. either that or the plan not taking into account getting called on a drawless flop. i like to take shots at a lot of flops to set up fast playing my big hands, but usually i win the pot, get raised by people with better hands, or called by draws.

in both this hand and the K7 hand, the boards are pretty drawless, so i'm only being called by superior hands. i should have gone into check-fold mode in both cases.

posting these was a sort of penance for having such dumb hands be my biggest losers yesterday /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i looked him up and he had 33 (in the chat i guessed 88 before calling).
