This is a 50+5 and I wasn't too sure what to do. It seems like he hit his hand on the river and that means I'm probably facing a flush but can i fold at this point? Any comments about how I played the hand would be appreciated.

You did have the Ace /images/graemlins/club.gif, and I doubt he would have called you all the way without the nut flush draw. This wouldnt apply to the $11's I play at, freaking monkeys, but I think you can give the guys at the $55s a bit more respect, but then again, he did make the call after the Ace hit on the turn...
