me and Adanthar at table 6

about as good a first hour as you can ask for. AA twice and got allin both times. AK so many times I lost count, but never really able to get many chips with them.

Hope I haven't used up all my cards.

For whatever reason Empire players consider raises beneath them or something.

Why slowplay the draw heavy board out of position, then fast play the draw rainbow board in position? In hand 1 I think you have to push on the turn. You did everything in your power to let him hit his flush draw.

In hand 2 there arent any real scare cards and you're in position against a big stack. I'd much rather let him continue to bet into me or let him think that he's caught up when he hits a pair.

Hey Pat

thanks for the input.

Hand 1 I had made up my mind from the flop I was going for a true double-up. Maybe kinda foolish, but I didn't want to put anyone to a real decision on the turn. I raised just enough to leave behind a river bet that would be hard for someone not to call in the big pot.

Hand 2 the SB chatted "lol, guess I'll fold my J9" b4 mucking. I believe him as I hadn't seen him do anything out of line so far. I believe he put me on a big pair going for a failed linp rr preflop. I believe if I just called his overbet on the flop, he was done with the hand anyway.

Boy the level of play at EMpire seems way below every other site. Stalling when hand for hand, I'mseeing guys folding BB getting 4-1 against button steals...quite amazing really.
