I need a catchy but not too inappropriate synonym for "MTV artists."

As in (this isn't the actual context) "Indie rockers hate all those MTV artists."

You know, the more I think about it the more I'm starting to think that "MTV artists" summarize it better than any other suggestion given, so I'd go with that description.

If you are just looking for a synonym to mix it up abit in a paper or whatever I think the "no-talent ass clown" one is pretty good, or just "mainstream crap" if you want to be less offensive.
