Ok, curtains never taught me to limp with suited connectors in early position, but i thought people were less likely to raise here cause of my big stack. Every stage of this hand was a mystery to me- i thought i was getting the right odds to call the turn all in. What do you think?

At this stage people aren't really going to not raise you because you have 1600 chips. I wouldn't limp here in early position.

No way to fold to the 395 raise on the turn, IMO.

I probably would have raised on the flop.

The converter messed it up, but it appears that you're calling 400 into a pot of 1100 or so, if I've figured it out correctly. So 2.75:1. Your flush outs are probably all good most of the time, and your straight outs will get you at least a split. Some of the time you're going to be shown two pair or a set here, in which case the straight outs will be good for a win; I can't think of likely scenarios where J's are a useful out for you. Your paired J does protects you against the unlikely case of a higher flush draw, since I don't think A /images/graemlins/club.gif Q /images/graemlins/club.gif plays like this at all.

If you have all fifteen outs, then you're definitely getting the odds to call, as you only need about 2:1 in that case. Most of the time they're not all going to be clean outs, but I think it's still pretty close, and the chance that you're up against somebody who is really overvaluing their hand on this board is pretty good. Call this.

As far as earlier streets, I think you have enough chips to limp with a hand like this. You flopped a monster draw, obviously; you definitely have enough hand that you can raise on the flop to 225 or so to try and take it right there and not feel so bad if you get called. This way you'll also usually buy yourself a free river when you get checked to on the turn.
