Hi All,

This is one of my few forays into 6-max. SB is a LAG. From what I've seen so far I suspect he overbets marginal hands and slow plays big hands. No read on UTG.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

<font color="#C00000">UTG ($38.95)</font>
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($42.9)</font>
<font color="#C00000">SB ($80.87)</font>
BB ($24.85)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.1.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $0.5</font>, Hero calls $0.50, SB (poster) calls $0.40, BB calls $0.25.

Flop: ($2) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $2</font>, BB folds, UTG calls $2, Hero calls $2.

Turn: ($8) J/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $4</font>, UTG calls $4, Hero calls $4.

River: ($20) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $10</font>, UTG calls $10, Hero calls $10.

Final Pot: $50

The river bet is my main concern. I just about had pot odds to call on the flop and turn (certainly had implied odds). Was calling at the end the right choice or should I have raised?

Any and all comments appreciated.

I've got leaks so take this with a grain of salt.

If your read is correct, you answered your own question. The only hand that beats you is a boat. Wouldn't he have check raised once the flush popped?

I'm raising here. If the SB had a boat, he'd likely slowplay it like you said and if UTG had a boat, what's he waiting for? This is just me, I've been known to be wrong.
