but then I read about it again in Bob Dylan's chronicles, vol. 1, and found a stream on the internet....

hot damn...the best mix of Blues/R&B/Jazz/Cajun - awesome, Bob was right when he said the best radio in the world is in New Olreans

I'm pretty sure I was listening to this station driving through there a few years ago. It was a low 90's frequency playing anything from Cajun to Big Band to a Petty song I've never heard played on the radio. Awesome stuff.

Where I live there is a similar station. WYCE 88.1. I don't have any clue as how to post links but a simple search would reward you with great music. It is hit and miss, of course, but when they are on a roll it's one out of the park grand slam after another.
