What's the best way to build pots?

Whenever I flop a monster hand, I always have a hard time suckering people in. Whenever I slow play, people just call until the river and fold. Or else they catch something and destroy me.

If I bet big, they fold.

Hence, is there an optimal way to build humongous pots?

you're being vague. do you have any specific examples of hands you've played that you've been unsatisfied with?

I think the consensus is that you should only slowplay against players you respect. Blinds are still money, and I would like to make people pay for their running flushes.

Like if I flop a set of kings on the flop.

If I flop top set after raising preflop on a totally unthreatening board, like KK on a K62 rainbow flop, I will slowplay against dumb/bad players. Since I bet almost every flop after raising preflop, it would be too suspicious against a solid/good player, so I'll bet it. Generally, slowplaying top set is pretty obvious, and even when it's not, you're just costing yourself money that you could have made playing it faster.
