something is wrong with mah internet thingy...i have cable and the modem keeps makin this weird noise and turning off for a minute...plz help

quit flipping the light switch that powers the outlet that your router is plugged into. took me awhile to figure that out when it happened to me too!!

i thiink so and the box says 3com and has these 3 green flashing lights where the top 1 blinks

in addition this box "the operation to open up adserver.conjelco timed out" and it comes in bunches so i have to "ok" a lot

c'mon. its really bothering me. like, i went to go get a drink from the kitchen and the adserver thing was up 20x when i got back! and when i typed this it happened 8x! what the hell is it? i'll get rid of my peachy avatar/location/speech if someone wants me to and they tell me how to get rid of it

Yeah, I got that too. Switched to IE and it stopped happening. Really annoying though.

Yes. Firefox handles the error by giving you a popup. ID just gives you a "Page cannot be displayed" error where the ads were supposed to go.
