Should I have went for a check-raise here? Or is the danger of being 3 bet if he has a flush/set, or even AA

It looks fine.

I just wonder what to do when he raises the turn. Call down, i guess...but I would expect to lose.

I really don't know. In the heat of the moment, I would probably call down...but on the forum, I might call and fold if I don't get 2 pair on the river...but, like I said, I really don't know.

I think the added question was what to do if you bet and are raised on the turn.

What do you mean by if you get 2 pair on the river?

You played the hand fine. There's no reason to ever check the turn here. If he raises your turn bet, call down. Not too difficult. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
