Hand from this afternoon's 11r. I am top 30 in chips with 200 remaining. Villain has not been out of line in the short time we have been at the table together, and neither have I.

Anyone do anything different then try to see the river as cheaply as possible?

I think I reraise on the flop and if he caught a 2 outer on me then I'm going broke.

I would be more concerned if he smooth called me on the flop and check raised me on the turn or river. Villain may have you on AK and is looking to see if his T or pair is any good.

I find a lot of players look at 1/2 pot bets as being weak and just a standard continuation bet. He could very well be making the play with even just the OESD. If he comes over the top again then I may be a bit concerned and then try to get to the river cheap without going broke.

I put him on AT or smaller pocket pair like 88 or JJ. I think he has to slowplay a set against you here, so he doesn't push you out if you are holding AK or any non pocket pair.

When the second diamond hits the turn, I think that's the time to make your move and reraise him all in. You have about 20k left, and the pot after his bet is just over 20k. If you are going to just call down, you are putting in over half your chips and giving him a chance to hit on the river, where you'll have to call because of the odds anyway...

So try to take down the pot and add 13k to your stack on the turn. If he wants to draw to his 5 outs with AT or his 10 outs with 88, then you are getting the best of it. If he has a set, he pretty much SHOULD get all your chips in on the river anyway, which again, you'll have to call with the pot odds.
