i capped the flop to get a free turn.

if i hit a 9, i can bet safely knowing that i'm gonna get c/r'd probably 80+% of the time. and if i dont get c/r'd i'm getting 2-3 callers.

same idea on turn. even though the A hit, no one bet out, so it seemed that no one had AK or the like. but no one's folding KK QQ JJ if i start betting.

Here's a thought--why don't you bet the flop so that you can greatly increase your chances of winning this sizeable pot.

it's horrid that tou didn't bet the flop after capping PF

and why did you cap PF anyways, did you have a read on the SB?

checking the turn and river is fine IMO, but not betting that flop is criminal.
