Reads would be helpful here.

Against an unknown, there's still a pretty good chance you're ahead on the flop. I probably would have 3-bet for information here. If he caps and then comes out shooting on the turn he's got at least an Ace, and probably a set of 'em, and I go into call-down mode (maybe even fold, depending on my reads). If he just calls I lead the turn too...and if he folds (which he might do with QQ or JJ), I win the pot /images/graemlins/wink.gif

River I'd check/call too, especially with that Q. It could easily give him a set or two pair if he didn't already have the aces.

Honestly, I think the best line here is check-call/check-call/check-call. If he doesn't have an Ace he will likely fold if you're aggressive on the flop or turn. Normally in situations like this I'd check-call twice and bet the river planning on folding to a raise, but I think the pot is too big here to fold if Button raises the river.

Against the average small stakes player I lay this down on the turn. If you think he is a tricky player I check-call down. If he checks behind lead out. I think this is one of the very few situations where this line is correct, as unless he has specifically QQ he'll prolly fold worse hands and call/raise better ones.

When taking this line, on the river you need to fold if you dont fold the turn. The only hand you can beat, unless hes a total lag, is JJs or possibly 99s (which is still somewhat unlikely given the flop raise)

Is this too weak-tight?

Call the turn if you hate money. W/o the nut Bdoor flush draw this is an easy flop bet / fold. Assuming regular 2/4 opposition w/ no read.
