getting frustrated... have only been in the money a few times in 3 months. I am tight (15%-30% of flops using Sklansky chart), aggressiveness varies, but typically 3x BB and if I miss flop I frequently fold. I frequently lose when I move all-in b/c my opponents draw out, but I am afraid to move-in pre-flop w/ weaker hands... (ie sm-med pocket pairs)

I was in 10 person tournament (5 left), blinds $25/$50, I am short stack w/ $500, villain is chip leader and in BB. I am under the gun w/ pocket 4's. I limp-in, another limps in, small and big blinds also call/check. Flop is 2h 3s 4h. I have set of 4's and am worried about straight and flush draw. I move all-in. Villain calls w/ Tc 5s open ended straight draw. Ace hits turn... once again I am favored and lose and of course I miss the money. Should I have played differently?

From the sounds of it you are too loose in levels 1-3 and too tight in levels 4+... The hand you posted should be folded PF.

AND DON"T POST BAD BEAT STORIES AGAIN!!!

I would probably move all in preflop, but that might just be me
