Couple of KK hands where I was up against AA (or suspected AA), wanted your guys comments.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB ($96.5)
UTG ($275.86)
UTG+1 ($98.2)
MP1 ($20.6)
MP2 ($179.09)
Hero ($110.8)
CO ($133.8)
Button ($94.5)
SB (Villain) ($90.8)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif. SB (Villain) posts a blind of $0.5.
UTG calls $1, 3 folds, Hero raises to $5, 2 folds, SB (Villain)(poster) raises to $14.5, 1 fold, UTG folds, Hero calls $10.

Flop: ($32) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Villain bets $50, Hero calls $95.80 (All-In), Villain calls $25.80 (All-In).

Turn: ($203.60) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($203.60) 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $203.60

Results in white below:
Hero has Kc Kh (two pair, kings and sevens).
Villain has Ac Ad (two pair, aces and sevens).
Outcome: Villain wins $203.60.

No reads on the guy, his stats were 20/3 over 30 hands though. My initial thought was that he had AA (maybe weak?) so I only called hoping to hit a set or see if the flop was very scary. Well the flop wasn't scary at all and I wasn't quite sure what to do, so I figured I can't just fold KK there and go with it. No real reason on it I just know that KK v AA is unlikely, what should be my reasoning?

Hero ($206.1)
Button ($241.35)
SB ($107.6)
BB ($102.8)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.5.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $1, 3 folds, MP3 (Villain) raises to $4, Hero raises to $12, 3 folds, UTG+1 folds, MP3 (Villain) raises to $48, Hero folds.

No reads on this guy, he had just joined the table. After the last KK v AA (which was at the same table) maybe I was seeing ghosts, but I just don't see this being anything other than AA... If I had a read obviously I would push but I think this was the first hand the guy played. I just said screw it I don't want to take anotehr KK v AA raping.

Any help on these?

Thanks,
Dommer

I just posted the same situation before seeing your post. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who has trouble with this sometimes, I played mine like you played the second one and was kicking myself for not playing it like you played the first one. I guess I saved my stack by folding but I'm just not sure if its a positive move in the long run. I can't see someone reraising twice with AK, QQ or worse, unless he was tilting so what else could he have?
Hopefully we get some opinions.

the first hand is very hard to get away from, i don't see a problem with it

in the second hand, from my experience when I don't have a read on my opponent when your re-raise is re-re-raised it is more often than not AA, so I would say the fold is fine

In the first hand, the SB could have been trying to take the lead with QQ or JJ possibly and with that flop would probably make the same bet as he did w/ AA. Just hard to get away from. Second hand w/o a read, probably a safe laydown.
