Limping is fine but calling a 3 bet out of positon with the chance it will be capped preflop is definately not a good play in my opinion.

You dont want to pay 4 bets preflop for a flush draw.

I woulda folded to the 3 bet. What do others do?

Everyone else called, why can't we?

Everyone else jumps off a bridge to their death, do you follow cause everyone else did?

We're priced in with the button calling 3 cold and UTG+something coming along for the ride.

Folding a suited ace getting 14:2 would be a terrible play. Furthermore, even if you know it's going to be capped, there is no way you should be folding getting 18:3.

You are getting 12:2 and 5:1 when it is capped

Does this Make a difference?

1 (UTG) + 1 (Hero) + 2 (UTG+2) + 3 (MP3) + 3 (Button) + 1.33 (both blinds) + 2 (UTG) + 1 (anticipated from UTG+2) = 14.33 [to 2 for Hero's call]

Adding four more SB for the potential cap comes to 18.33 to 3.

Yes, but it's one plus two plus two plus one....

Seriously, I agree with you. Once Button and UTG come along, there's no folding this.

I would have folded to the 3-bet. But it's interesting that some posters on here that I respect would not have. Food for thought.

What is the probability of making a flush by the river, given 2 of a suit in the pocket?

Preflop is close once it comes back around to you. Sometimes I won't overlimp with these weaker suited aces if there are some aggressive players behind me.

Preflop play very questionable and I dont see how you take it as far as you did as any ace beats you with all that action you can be quite sure your not best.

Preflop is debatable, but I don't think PBob is ever given enough reason in this hand to fold postflop.

It isn't until the turn gets checked through that I start seriously thinking he's quite likely best, but he needs to chase on the flop for just one SB, in my opinion (especially since we can't actually rule out the possibility that he might be best).
