this isn't the first time he's been spotted playing craps. He's a sicko gambler. BIG SURPRISE!

In the Rolling Stone article posted earlier, it mentions Phil dropping 1 million at the craps table one time. This is probably why this post appeared anyway! It also mentions that Doyle and many other high profile pro friends of his have tried to warn him not to play -EV games.

I only know what I get from heresay, but I also have a pet theory that Ivey has a serious gambling problem. Remember when he won Foxwoods, and said he would just be breaking even after what he lost in the side prop bets? Remember the stories about how much he was betting and losing during a golf game around the 2004 World Series?

It seems to me that the story usually ends badly for guys with this much gamble in them.

I could be wrong. Maybe the image isn't reality.

I think he plays so much poker that he doesn't have time to lose it all in -EV games.

"$1000, man. You got me out of bed for $500 a hole? C'mon."

I doubt Phil would make himself look like that much of a degenerate gambler for real. That had to be a put-on for ESPN.

Why would he care? He'll just win it back challenging them to some ms Pac Man.

Now if I could just lure Ivey out of the video game kiddie pool and get him into a high stakes game of Super Mario Kart.

He wouldn't stand a chance.

I could totally beat Ivey at Ms. Pac Man. And it's not even close.

In all seriousness, I laugh out loud every time I see Ivey, Williamson and Lederer golfing during that short on ESPN during WSOP coverage. Best line is when someone says to Ivey: $10,000 for this hole (or something like that) and Ivey says: "I would like to bet more."

Just the way he says it, man, so funny.

Yes. I remember this. He said it nice, calm and casual. "I would like to bet more." That was classic.

Well he is either a stiff or was losing his ass because I happen to know for a fact that he was at Sams on Friday shooting dice and tokes for that day were below average.

Did you see all the chips in front of him? I watched for about 2 minutes. I think it was Floyd Mayweather with him. This is the only time I have ever seen him show emotion. He 7'd out jumped up in to the middle of thpit and screamed, Then I left enough star gazeing for me

Think about it. 18 holes at $500 a pop, worst case he loses 9 grand... that's 2 big blinds for this guy. Doesn't seem unrealistic that he'd want to gamble higher.

The only things you should do at a casino:

1. Play poker
2. Try to get free drinks
