I would hope they understand that it does not matter that this does not work.

I think this is pretty good service.

We thank you for notifying us on this.

We have checked the chat transcript and definitely consider this unacceptable.
The chat feature is provided for players as a ıadd onı feature to better
experience the action at our tables, but any misuse of this feature is not
permitted. Given that we have reason to believe, that this account was created
solely for the purpose of indulging in such activities we have proceeded to
close the account permanently from our site.

We are in the process of implementing permanent measures to stop such spam and
greatly appreciate your gesture in bringing this to our notice and helping us in
our efforts to maintain the experience that we strive to provide in our games.

Clarifying on the other concern of yours, I assure you that no one can see your
pocket cards while the hand is in progress (The same can be confirmed by just
reflecting on the fact whether any such product which claims to see opponents
cards real time would be sold for $29.95 )and these are applications that
calculate the odds and keep a track of subjective & generic information on your
opponents like % of preflop raise, % flop seen, and %won at showdown etc. This in
turn might help to some extent but does not fully exemplify a playerıs style of
play, nor would it substantially indicate under what conditions these results
were obtained or for that matter the mix of the players in these games.

We would like to mention that we use 128-bit encryption, through ıThawte
Securityı, to ensure the highest level of security and privacy of your data. Our
state-of-the-art player identification and controlled access login ensures
maximum Account safety.

(The 128-bit encrypted messages are 309,485,009,821,345,068,724,781,056 times
harder to break than 40-bit messages. Thus, it would take the same technology
used to crack the RSA 40-bit message 1 trillion x 1 trillion years to crack a
128-bit message. That's several trillion times longer than the age of the
Earth.)

please be assured that your data is safe with us and the other variables
that go into consideration, while playing poker, do deplete the efficacy of any
such information. Further, the same can easily be countered by changing your
screen name and this would render any such database completely useless.

I hope this explains the situation and allays your concerns. If you have any
further questions, comments or concerns, please contact us at
alerts@partypoker.com and we will be more than glad to assist you.

Francis Hamilton,

The last I heard the NSA can crack 128 bit encryption but not 256 bit. Party needs to upgrade.

they need to add filters that block the urls in these messages. It is too easy to make new accounts.

We are talking about years to break that kind of encryption by brute force.

Seems to me the simple solution is not shutting off all observer chat - rather, allowing it only if you have a minimum of $50 in your account (a minimum deposit). Somehow I have a feeling the cost of losing $50 everytime a spamming account is shutdown (and the funds seized, as I think would be necessary as a deterrent) would be enough to make spamming a very unprofitable business.

As it is right now, they (Party) make it far too easy to do.

This fixes the spam problem, but you still have the problem of railbirds harassing fish in the 15/30, 30/60 and other mid limit games on Party.
