KK in late position.... blinds 25-50 ... 2 players limp in I have 550 chips left 3rd lowest stack 9 people left.

Do I..

A. Minraise to 100, and make a strong play on the flop

B. Move all in preflop, live to fight another day, gain folding equity to avoid getting outdrawn

C. Limp In preflop and take it from there

D. The above answers suck and I have a much better solution

I don't think this is really the ultimate KK question. Options A and C are quite bad. If you're sure they'll fold to a push, raise to 250 preflop and toss the rest in on the flop. Otherwise push this all day.

Fold... if there was only one limper, you probably have the besthand and push. But TWO limpers, i can pretty much guarentee one of them is limp/RRing AA.

You are just throwing your money away by continuing with this hand.

while this sucks if an A turns up on the flop, if you want to maximize your chip count, this is prob the best move IMO.

i like potting it here with a 200-250 bet preflop.

plus your gonna get re-raised all in anyway by the second limper's AJ.

if your just called, and an ace comes. you must assume your dead and fold to a bet, barring any read you have to the contrary.

Personally, I raise to 150.

Why? An ace will hit about 28% of the time if nobody has one. If one or two aces are out, it's 21%/14%. This does not count the times you hit a set, so the actual times you may have to fold will be quite a bit lower.

In exchange for the risk, you get at least 200 more chips in the pot PF and then push any flop and hopefully get called by TPxK with 5 outs.

With 550 chips, you want to get called and add to your stack. I would push in a $5 when some jackass will call me, but in a decent buyin a standard raise makes more sense.

OK, i figured others would take care of that. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
B: Push, take the T175, and if called, berate opponent for calling with his 2 or 3 outer.

I dont undertand why raising 150, 200, 250, etc is so popular.

Any astute opponent will see that you have bet to more or less pot-commit yourself, and bells will go off.

In this situation, you are more likely to be called ig you push.

Nobody pushes half their stack on a blind steal. A push looks weaker than potting p/f.

If i am missing something, i'm willing to be corrected.
