CO was about 50/20/1.5 if I remember correctly over a few hundred hands. there were also a couple of calling stations at the table

I'm conflicted about this one...preflop is fine IMO, the flop...I guess you might be clearing out a couple of your outs, but I'd rather call and then raise any K,T,Q turn. Fold the turn unimproved unless the pot is very large.

And given the way you played it, I like the turn/river.

I think the flop raise is mandatory. if I get called in a few spots that's ok because I might be able to take a free card, plus I have a nut gut shot draw, backdoor flush draw, and an iffy overcard. if I'm not called, that's good too because I can semibluff the turn and river.

I guess this is pretty standard.

I'm sure that threebetting preflop is profitable. Whether it's more profitable than coldcalling and trying to represent hands on more flops I'm not sure.

It's hard to evaluate this hand without the context of the table. The brilliance/stupidity of your bluff all depends on your image and your opponent. It's great to bully around unimproved overcards when you're in position, but not against a guy who wants to see a showdown.

I like, KQ is the only hand you have a shot at folding on the river and there is a ton of A-high that calls.
Checking to beat worse draws or paired below 9 is clearly the way to go.

Only street I question is the turn, mostly because you said the table was full of calling stations.

You can't semibluff the river, Josh.

WtSD is more important than the stats you posted, any way..I don't mind how you played the hand, I would be the river to fold an A.

i'd rather 3 bet preflop. Only thing I cold call with is small to medium pairs multiway looking to flop a set. He's not folding an ace, so good check on the river.

This player isn't folding an ace. Believe me, he isn't folding an ace.
