Did anyone else get a free entry into Pacific's $250,000 guarantee tomorrow?

They sent me an email saying:

As one of our most valued members, we have now registered, entered and paid the direct buy-in fee of $110 allowing YOU to play in this amazing tournament for FREE!

Pretty nice of them, I think. I was going to buy in to it anyway.

I'm just wondering how special I am, or if a lot of people received the same thing.

I received the same e-mail.

Is there going to be an overlay for this tourney? Not a bad promotion by the site if they aren't going to fill all the seats anyways.

I got one as well, they also did the same thing last year with a special WSOP 100$ buyin satellite for "vip" members and there was only 110 players 2 players got seats.

Doublecheck your inbox, maybe. I received both emails. The one inviting me to qualify came after. Odd.

well, double checked, but nothing. oh well. they probably dont value me as a good customer anymore because the last time i played there was in january. still, i did wager $3,445 during my stay, and they haven't given me anything to show for it. oh well, maybe i'll win one of their freerolls and build it up so i dont have to deposit again.

Hey guys i just found something. Go to pacific and look down for the tournament on may 1st at 16:00. Its under the multi table tab. There is a 20k guaranteed tournament restricted freeroll. My name is on the list. Im figuring this has to have something to do with the e-mail.

Called them today, they said too many people called, and they are giving it only to the first 200.

They said there is a speacial free-roll 2morrow for those uf us that contacted them late.

Told them I can't play tomorrow and they said nothing they could do.

I still did not get an email.

They are idiots.

they could have easily said in the email that it was for the 1st 200 replies.....big waste of time, plus makes you wonder if it ever existed in the first place. Pacific is a shady joint, so never know what is truth over there.

Thats really dumb since they still have 1200 seats to fill on the tourny. So now they are losing all the overlay on the tourny plus 20k for the freeroll. I knew that offer just sounded too good.

Exactly!
They registered less than 900 for the free-roll and giving 20K.
If they registered 900 into the 250K, it would have only cost them 9K.

Dumb Dumb Dumb.....

After reading this I went and checked my email....I do have an email from them about the grand slam calling me one of their most valued players, but nothing about paying the entry fee.
