For anybody into bird watching and conservation this is truely a remarkable discovery. The last ivory billed woodpecker sighting prior to this was in 1944. I really hope the population recovers.

Hope there's a female to go with the male they discovered. [Look at those feet (talons). Plus this woodpecker has a 3 foot wingpan.]
