After playing 5/10 6m without the proper bankroll and going through a month of stress (up 50bb after the dust settled, but the swings were still stressful as hell), I've decided to do it right.

By "right", I mean starting at a limit appropriate for my 'roll and working my way up.

So...what can you tell me about 2/4? Is it much different than 3/6?

Prepare to be bombarded with passivity.

2/4 is *much* softer, IMO.

I've been playing 3/6 for teh past few weeks and have suffered a bad run of late, so I dropped down to 2/4 to just get myself feeling confident again, and boy, it was complete cake. Seriously, I've seen your posts and you should be bored at 2/4 because it will be so easy. 3/6 is easy too and I still ahve more then enough of a roll for it, I just needed a confidence booster and 2/4 certianly provided me with that

I would say that other than 0.50/1 and maybe 15/30, 2/4 is the softest game on party. It's best late at night and on weekends of course, but anytime of day you should be able to get the best of it.

Example from last night:

I have As Qc, raised preflop, flop comes 3 undercards, two spades. The pot has about 5 players in it. Player to my right bets out, everyone calls. Turn brings Ks. I call another bet, making the pot 4-handed. River brings another spade for my nut flush. It's checked to me in last position, I bet, a calling station calls, another player raises, original bettor folds, I pump it to 3, calling station calls 2 more cold, and check-raiser calls. Check-raiser had the Js and calling station had the Ts.

So I managed to suck two players in for 3 bets on a one-card nut flush when neither of them had the second nut. Beautiful game.

I suggest you play some 15/30.

I do play 15/30 sometimes if the game is really good but I really shouldn't be playing it because my bankroll is not large enough. My BB/100 in 15/30 is 2.00.

My BB/100 in 15/30 is over 7! I should move to the 100-200
