A situation that gives me problems is when there is one overcard on the flop, and an opponent is betting into me.
For example, suppose I limp in from mid position with 88, the flop is T73, and an EP player bets into me. I will usually raise the flop to try to take control of the hand. If that works, I bet the turn and check the river.
But what if I raise the flop, a 5 comes on the turn, and he bets? Has he shown enough strength to justify a fold?
