I HATE folding the 55. Okay the guy was tight and folded to your allins for a few hands, but this isnt the kind of thing that's going to continue. Your EV for calling with 55 against his range of pushing hands is hugely +EV, and unless he remains an absolute rock for the rest of the headsup match, it's a terrible fold.

People have a way of adjusting to your nonstop allin's, and finally closing their eyes and calling you with something like J8o. Learn to call sometimes instead of just pushing allin with 73o any chance you get.

Playing so tight preflop headsup when faced with an allin, should be a recipe for bad headsup results, especially at higher limits.

Bascially what I'm saying is you better have a very good reason for giving up such EV here. You are basically throwing away about 5-15 bucks (depending on how loose your opponent is pushing here) because you think you will have some very large advantage later on. Routinely throwing away this kind of advantage when you are playing for only 200 bucks, is ridiculous IMO.

Some people seem to have the disease of "always be the one pushing, never calling". I hear so many people repeat this line. Most of the time your expectation on calling with 55 will be higher than your expectation with pushing with T7o next hand or whatever.

I remember folding a 53 on sb /images/graemlins/wink.gif Seriously though Usher, do you mean I'm overaggressive here? That's one of the questionmarks that I had when I thought about this game.

According to pokerstove, with AA-22, AKs-A2s, KQs-K7s, QJs-Q8s, JTs-J9s, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, AKo-A2o, KQo-K6o, QJo-Q8o, JTo-J9o, 55 is about 51% and A9 is 55%. Against a random hand both are about 60%.

damn if I ever play you heads up, 10 high is a monster
