3/6 at The Bike.

Villian is a typical loose B&M player, but semi-aggressive post-flop. Saw him bet/raise for value when he has a str8/flush draw.

Hero is BB with 96o, 5 players limped in.
Flop came 987 rainbow. It was checked around to the villian on the button and he bet, SB called, and Hero raised, 2 players cold called, and villian 3-bets. SB called, Hero??

Is it a mistake to fold here due to the pot size, so I might be drawing dead anyway? Appreciate any comments, thanks.

No way you should fold here.

Call. Let's see the turn.

Call it. You can get there.

I'd make the call. Now the villian could very well have a made straight, but you could at least be drawing to the higher end of it. Considering the pot size a call would definetly be in order, and I'd maybe see the river considering the pot size

Can't be drawing to the higher end of it any more than he is, so that's no good. Still have to call with top pair and the straight draw. See the flop and take it from there.
