View Full Version : Incorrect to raise here to define hand or just being results-oriented?

BB in this hand (who was 85/15 which is why i raised) started moaning when the turn brought another jack....He didn't understand that i also had a jack but did acknowledge his kicker was low...So just wondering...If i KNEW my opponents had weaker jacks, would a raise be appropriate? I obviously raised to see where I was and to charge any flush draws...Also, anyway i can bet LESS on the turn? I knew i'd get him to fold most hands but i can't let him draw cheap...What to do? What do i do if reraised?

I fold PF. I don't call raises w/ QJo.
I like the flop raise.
On turn I think you have to bet more. Assume some small implied odds and he is corect to chase a FD. Something like 12 looks good to me. Additionally a stronger bet gives you more info if reraised.

I play QJo in the CO in 6max to raise I just hope to build a bigger hand then normal.

I like the raise... perfect.

I'd pot the turn. Anything less gives a flush draw the right to call.
