I'm firing one more raise out there on the river.

you like slowing down on the turn though?

Yeah, i like slowing down on the turn- you get capped here by a flush (unless its a baby)- you risk blowing out utg, the three bet here on the turn is chip spewage. The river you have two guys who haven't gone anywhere for any thing giving you a nice overlay- SB looks like he is hanging around with AA or KK that he can't let go off, Mp looks more like a flush than anything, utg? who the hell knows, but he doesn't have you beat.

Edit: that is one messed up avatar

i think this is a very good analysis.

in retrospect i do believe not 3-betting river is a clear misplay. need to work on putting people on hand ranges, instead of 1 specific hand.

results:

sb had QQ, UTG and MP both had KQ and I missed out on at least 60 bucks.

Me too. And I slow down on the turn as well.

Slowing on the turn is fine, but you need at least another bet in on that river.

slow down on turn, raise the river ..
thats easy to say after you posted results..

I just wanted to know what your clip is about..
some guy getting run over?? Is that somehow related to getting run over in short handed play? there has got to be some story behind that.

I think by the river you can 3-bet your full house. It's easy to be results-oriented now, but either KQ or the flush had to be out there and the turn play is intelligent.

I am not remotely worried about JJ or 55 until my river 3bet gets capped. And by then it will be to late to worry about it anyway cuzz all you and do is call for one more and hope somebody else got overzealous.
