I didn't click on any of the links, and it looks fishy. I also changed the https to hxxps to prevent errant clicking by people here.

I haven gotten emails like this before and it's a scam. And incase you don't know, never click on a link in an email. Always type in the address yourself.

If you ever have any doubts, open a new browser, type in paypal.com yourself, and it will prompt you for the information when you login.

On top of that, any real email will adress you by your name, not "paypal account holder" or whatever

I figured it was.

The strange thing is that I get ZERO spam at this e-mail address, so I was a little weirded out by this. It's my main poker e-mail that only the poker rooms and Bob Ciaffone have (recently tried to buy his book from his site).

Guess it's time to run Ad-Aware and HijackThis again.

Just got the e-mail again! I'm going to check the headers, something I should have done the first time around.

Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com so they can try to track it down and de-testicle the bastard that sent it.
