First hand at the table, although I had seen villain raising several of the hands prior to my BB and playing pretty LAGgity after the flop.

Good. Pretty standard I think. The king is not a good card but you cant fold.

against this guy I cap the flop and lead the turn. no free showdowns, no free cards

That's a probably a better line. I'm playing a little timid as I try to incorporate a rope-a-dope LAG strategy into my game. My line might have been better with a medium PP.

I tend to do the same thing here. Though, I don't like my answer to JBB's question, which is call, check/call.

well u only have 2 options and the decision depends on the degree of thsi guy's postflop laggityness, something not easily conveyed after the fact over a message board

I would just call the 3 bet and check raise the turn.

call down and win

JR says it depends. I don't see myself folding that often there. most players would tend to slow down with an overpair, unless it's ROCKETS!!!! or COWBOYS!!!!! because people tend to overplay those, and LAGs seem to like overplaying BIG SLICK!!!!!!! and tend to not believe anyone who gives them flop action

folding wasn't one of the 2 I was thinking of
