That "jerk" Elliot Spitzer is at it again. The nerve of him, enforcing the law of New York State and acting in the best interest of the citizens of his state (and others) (although I'm sure BGC will find a reason to criticize this action; after all, it's brought by a democrat).

Still waiting for a concrete reason -- from anyone -- as to why (1) he would be a bad governor and (2) he would do a worse job than Pataki or anyone the Republicans would be running out there. Haven't heard it yet.

There really isn't any good reason. Pataki is really a mediocre governor, as well as a mediocre Republican. Spitzer is going to just destroy him.

Really? I didn't know that. Here I thought he was doing a tour as governor of each of the 50 states. The tour happened to start in New York.

He would be a gigantic improvement over Pataki, and he has no presidential aspirations.

We might even get gay marriage passed in NY if he became governor. Weld has said that he supports it. Spitzer does not.

NY could do a lot worse than Weld. It would be a tough choice for me if the race was between him and Spitzer.
