Here's something exceptionally stupid from MSNBC and Mr. Daschle:
Daschle likened bin Laden to the Washington-area sniper, who unleashed a wave of terror around the nation’s capital. “Osama Bin Laden is the sniper,” he said. “He is terrorizing this country as the sniper terrorized Washington.”
Osama is responsible for the deaths of thousands of people. He has been mentioned on every news broadcast for the past 14 months. Tons of Americans are living in constant fear. So Daschle comes up with this really bright idea: let's compare him to the criminal of the week who killed like 10 people and that will really show everyone that Osama is a bad guy!
Even worse than Daschle saying it is MSNBC publishing it.
