excessive posting

I was reading through that thread earlier about all these newbies and forum becoming less inclusive and whatnot. Seems like some of these older members clutter the boards a lot more. Jakethebake has 7962 posts and been a member about 442 days... thats about 18 posts a day for the past year. You are going to tell me more than 10% of those were worth reading?

No point to this post other than to see if you find Jake as annoying as I do, or if I'm the minority and he's respected on the boards... in which case i'm about to get flamed.

And yeah I know this post and 15 of my other 20 had no substance, but atleast I'm not flooding the board.

To be honest, I used to think Jake sucked a lot, but it seems he has gotten really clever and funny lately.

In short, someone can make all the posts they want as long as they're entertaining.

18 is not really that much when you think about it. He probably spends about 10-15 hours a day in OOT, so thats not much more than 1 every 30-45 minutes. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've made this mistake before...so this comes from experience.

95% of the posts on OOT are not substantive and generally not worth your time.

And I still read it. And you still read it. So really, who the hell cares if one person has a bad signal/noise ratio on OOT? We all do.

Jake's like a bad beat. He stands out and your brain fools you into thinking he is posting more often than the others.
